“I originally found out about Clare in May 2012 but it wasn’t until February 2013 that I finally booked my first appointment with her. I honestly didn’t know quite what an unhealthy state I was in at that point. My reason for seeing Clare was; uncontrollable eating of sugary foods (I could eat a packet of custard creams in one sitting), I was gaining weight, I had an overwhelming sense of exhaustion which no amount of sleep seemed to help, my periods where irregular, I was suffering monthly migraines that meant a day or 2 in bed, I was stressed to the point of hysteria, I was working incredibly hard running my business, while trying to be a mum, a wife and run a home efficiently, I was stressed and unhappy, with no time for my friends or really for my family; at the time I didn’t really know why life had got so out of balance, why I was gaining weight and why I was so exhausted but I knew I needed help and guidance to get better.
Very quickly Clare identified the reasons behind my health issues, both physically, mentally and emotionally. With endless patience, an eye for detail, empathy, compassion, not to mention unmeasured expertise, knowledge and skill Clare guided me back to health. To be fair, I worked hard at it, I followed her advice to the letter, I knew there was no going back to the old way of living, and for a while things got somewhat worse before they got better – but oh my goodness did things get better!!
Clare guided me to change my diet, helped educate me in a new way of dietary thinking. She reworked my schedule, identified a digestive parasitic overload which was causing me to feel pretty rubbish, using herbs which dealt efficiently with it. Clare also used NLP timelining (a type of cognitive therapy) to help me overcome some overwhelming anxieties, and taught me how to rest.
Now 8 months on from seeing Clare, the changes to my life are immeasurable. I feel rested, I have re-prioritised, I am happy, I know how to eat clean, without ever denying myself food or feeling guilty about eating. My family life has improved, my work life balance is back on track and I am content. Best of all I’m now 6 months pregnant, something that just wasn’t happening before I went to see Clare.
Clare’s skill and expertise hasn’t just changed my life, but my whole family have now benefited from her knowledge, we are all healthier. I am educating my daughter to take responsibility for her own health, fitness and nutrition, I am teaching her that sleep is important, that the food she eats is key to health. I am now on a wonderful pathway to optimised health and fitness, one that will continue throughout my life, all thanks to Clare and her skill. I feel so well, my energy levels are so consistent, I can’t thank Clare enough, she is very unique in what she can help with and I look forward to the next stage in my journey post pregnancy, when I aim to improve my strength and fitness levels – I’m excited about the future and all it holds, thanks to Clare!
